Ayurveda for energy, sleep and stress, built around your constitution
Ayurveda is a traditional system of health from India. It starts with your constitution, the way your body and mind tend to run, and uses it to shape what you eat, how you structure your day, which herbs may fit and how you move. We bring it online for men across Canada and the USA, including men with low testosterone and andropause symptoms such as low energy, poor sleep and low drive. It builds on our low testosterone and andropause approach.

Ayurveda in plain language: your constitution
Ayurveda describes three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, as a way of naming patterns in how people run. Everyone has all three, in a different mix. That mix is your constitution, called Prakriti. How you feel right now, your Vikriti, can drift away from it with stress, short sleep, travel, shift work or a change of season. Your plan uses both, so the advice fits you instead of a one-size-fits-all routine.
Vata: movement
Described as quick, light and creative. Out of rhythm, it tends to show up as restless sleep, scattered energy and an irregular appetite.
Pitta: heat and drive
Described as focused, competitive and warm. Out of rhythm, it tends to show up as irritability, running hot and pushing too hard for too long.
Kapha: steadiness
Described as strong, calm and steady. Out of rhythm, it tends to show up as slow mornings, a heavy feeling and low motivation.
Energy, sleep, stress and drive turn together
Men with low testosterone symptoms often describe the same cluster: tired by mid-afternoon, sleep that doesn’t refresh, a short fuse under pressure and less drive than before. Sleep, stress, food and movement each pull on the others, so working on one at random rarely sticks. Ayurveda gives you a structure for working on all of them in an order that suits your constitution.
Energy
We look at meal timing, what you eat, how your digestion feels and when your energy dips, and shape your day around it.
Sleep
A steady wake time, a lighter evening meal and a wind-down routine that suits your constitution.
Stress
Breathing practices, recovery habits and a daily rhythm that gives your week some breathing room.
Drive
Movement and strength work matched to your energy, so you build momentum instead of burning out.
Want to know whether low testosterone is part of your picture? See which blood tests to ask for, or read TRT or fix the causes first?
Four pillars of your Ayurvedic plan
Each pillar is chosen for your constitution and your current state, and you start with the one or two changes most likely to matter for you.
Food for your constitution
Meals and foods chosen for your body type, how your digestion is doing and the season: warm and grounding for some, lighter and cooler for others. Regular meal times, no crash diet.
Daily rhythm
Ayurveda’s daily routine, dinacharya: steady times to wake, eat, move, wind down and sleep. We adapt it for long hours, travel and shift work.
Herbs, where they fit
Traditional Ayurvedic herbs suggested only where they suit you, from suppliers that test for quality, and checked against your medications first.
Breath and movement
Breathing practice (pranayama), yoga-based mobility, walking and strength work, matched to your energy rather than an all-or-nothing programme.
A day that works with your rhythm
Ayurveda pays close attention to timing. In its tradition, digestion is strongest around midday and the evening is for slowing down. Your plan turns that into a simple daily shape you can follow, and we adjust it to your work, family and training.
What an Ayurvedic day might look like
- Wake at a steady time and get some daylight early.
- A warm, simple breakfast that suits your digestion.
- Your main meal around midday.
- Movement when your energy is highest.
- A lighter, earlier dinner.
- A wind-down routine and a regular bedtime.

Common questions about low testosterone
Ayurveda works on your daily rhythm. These short answers cover the testing and treatment questions men often ask alongside it, each with a link to the full answer.

Can I raise testosterone naturally?
The best evidence is for losing extra body fat, sleeping enough and staying active. Most “booster” ingredients have little human evidence.
Read the full answerHow does sleep affect testosterone?
Testosterone rises while you sleep, so short, broken or badly timed sleep can pull it down.
Read the full answerIs it aging, or weight, sleep and stress?
Usually a mix. Age brings a gradual decline, and extra weight, short sleep and stress can pull testosterone lower. Those are the parts you can work on.

How do I convert ng/dL to nmol/L?
Divide ng/dL by 28.84 to get nmol/L. The calculator also estimates free T from total T, SHBG and albumin.
Open the calculatorShould I start TRT or fix the causes first?
Confirm the low result first, look for causes second, then decide about TRT. It often isn’t either/or, and we walk you through each step.
Read the full answerWhat are the side effects of TRT?
The most common is a rise in red blood cells (hematocrit). Acne, a small PSA rise and lower sperm production are also linked, and most show up early on labs.
Read the full answerDoes TRT affect fertility?
It often lowers sperm production while you’re on it, and for many men that eases after stopping. If children are in your plans, we help you weigh the options.
Read the full answerDoes testosterone cause hair loss?
Pattern hair loss comes from DHT acting on scalp follicles your genes make sensitive, not from your blood testosterone level.

What is Ayurveda, and what is a dosha?
Ayurveda is a traditional system of health from India. It describes three doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, as a way of naming patterns in how a person runs: movement and change, heat and drive, steadiness and structure. Everyone has all three in their own mix. That mix is your constitution, and it guides the food, daily rhythm, herbs and movement in your plan.
Can Ayurveda help men with low-T symptoms like low energy and poor sleep?
Ayurveda works on the daily habits that shape how you feel: sleep, stress, food, movement and routine. Men with low testosterone symptoms often describe low energy, poor sleep and low drive, and these habits are part of that picture. We build a plan around your constitution and adjust it at every check-in. To find out whether low testosterone is part of your picture, see which blood tests to ask for.
Which herbs might be in my plan?
Herbs are one option among four pillars, and we suggest them only where they fit you. Ashwagandha, for example, is a traditional Ayurvedic herb that many men ask about. We point you to products from suppliers that test for quality and purity, because some imported Ayurvedic products have been found to contain heavy metals. In Canada, licensed natural health products carry an eight-digit NPN on the label. See our supplements and herbology page for how we build a plan.
How does Ayurveda work with my doctor and my medications?
Ayurveda works alongside your medical care. Some herbs, including ashwagandha, can interact with medications such as those for thyroid, blood pressure or diabetes, and with sedatives, so we check your medication list before suggesting any herb and ask you to confirm with your doctor or pharmacist. We can share your plan with your doctor if you choose, and we factor in anything they change.
What happens in the first Ayurvedic session?
A private video or phone call about your energy, sleep, digestion, stress, routine, any medications and what you have already tried. We look at your constitution and your current state, then agree the first one or two changes and what you will track, so you can see for yourself how the plan is working.
Is it fully online, and where do you work with men?
Yes. Odin Health Labs is telehealth only and serves men across Canada and the USA. Sessions happen by secure video, phone and message, so there are no clinic visits. See our low testosterone and andropause overview for how the service works, or read our Privacy Policy for how we protect your information.
